The high lift jacks are available at lot's of places, I bought mine at the Farm & Fleet in Bemidji, MN. This type of jack is a common item. Great for when you get something stuck in the mud. The adapter for the Vanagon is a fine idea I'd never heard of before. Rob becida@comcast.net With a '91 Subaru 2.2 in an '87 Vanagon in western Washington.
