My understanding is to install this tank, you have to cut the crossmember that runs across the van - where the original tank straps stop.

I like the idea of the bigger tank - but am a little hesitant to cut the crossmember - since it seems to be there for structural reasons.

There were side tanks that were part of a previous group SA purchase -
They fit under the slidng door area and would not interfear with the propane tank.

has anyone installed those?
