Hi all.

Just avoiding work today and had a thought.

Would a moderately sized 12v DC motor run an
automotive compressor/AC system?

Was thinking one could assemble an AC system based on
a 12 V motor and install it in the front area of a
Vanagon. Shorter lines, no heat from engine bay ......

Likely someone has thought of this, and likely it
isn't possible, i.e a big enough DC motor would draw
too much, but I am curious.
