I've used MacGPS Pro on my Dual G5, on my various G4 laptops (12" and 17") and my current MacBook (13"). I use a bluetooth GPS unit, so I don't have to have a tether. Normally, I just put the laptop on the passenger seat. But I do have plans to make a dedicated laptop holder out of the front table mount, with straps to the hold the lap top in place. I've been eyeballing my wife's shiny newish PowerBook but that will only lead to trouble. I was thinking about finding a used 12" iBook but what kind of mount are you using that can survive thrashing around in the woods?
