Hello to all on the list.
I've been reading all your comments and posts for several months now
and have learned a great deal about my Vanagon.
Now it's time to tap this storehouse of great info for my own needs.
Does anybody out there know where to buy a replacement accelerator rod
for an 84 GL?
Not much luck at local junkyards. The last scrap guy I talked to
actually said "Vanagon? If I had anything like that I'd squash it."
It was almost enough to make me cry
Any info would be appreciated as I am going nowhere with the busted rod
I have.
