I've always used Moly grease, same stuff I use on CVs. I use it anywhere heat is an issue. I don't recall a big difference between each end of the needle bearing, but I don't have a loose one to check. I would think if one end of the case has a larger inside diameter, then this should face the clutch. The beefier end going toward the crank, making it easier to remove the old one... but I could be wrong. ;-\ On 14 Sep 2006 at 23:25, neil <goofymuso@YAHOO.CA> wrote: > ok. so what exactly is > > "bosch grease" ? > > And which end of needle bearing goes into hole of > flywheel? > > > > Please and thanks, > > Neil. > > > --- Aaron <lists@MYCOMMUNITYNET.NET> wrote: > > > > Wheel bearing grease will get hot and then fly out > > onto your clutch > > > disc. > > > Bosch grease won't do this. > > > > I can attest to this...although it wasn't wheel > > bearing grease, it > > was not the right grease, and not I get to pull the > > tranny again.
