Subject:Temp 2 Sensor Good, Anyone ever rewire this circuit?
From:Tim Marciniak

I have had a drivability problem going on like two years now. After
lots of troubleshooting and three temp 2 sensor replacements. I
finally decided to check the continuity of both wire leads that come
from the temp 2 sensor. It turns out the gray wire has no continuity
so I thinking this is my problem that has eluded me for so long--I
must have an open in this circuit. First thing I checked was the
connector to the Temp 2 sensor--it looks good, no corrosion.

I also looked for a break in the wiring harness but this is no small
task. The harness has never been cut open and everythng is nice and
tidy. I cant even find a suspicious area where there could be a
break. So do I start dissecting the harness at various points or
just replace the gray wire from the temp 2 sensor connector to the
digifant computer (terminal 10 I believe). BTW this gray wire, after
it goes to terminal 10 on the digifant it goes to the idle control
unit by the right tail light.

Also anyone ever open up that big connector that attaches digifant
control unit? Looks like there is just one screw holding it
together, I am wondering how easy it would be to bring another wire
into it.
