From what I've read on the rears, the first thing that
comes to mind is getting the big nut off..... safely.
i.e. you will be imparting a lot of torque to loosen
the axle nut. Try getting the nut loose with van in
gear/e-brake on, while the tires are on the ground;
NOT when the van is up on blocks.
