Hey List-

Haven't been on for a while . . . used to own an '87 GL Weekender "Moku",
but parted with him some years ago.

It was the single DUMBEST move I've ever made!

I've recently begun the search for another brick to love, and actually found
the '89 Westy of my dreams on ebay, but alas the auction ended yesterday and
I was out-bid.

That brings me to this listmail.

I've been looking around online and seem to be encountering quite a bit of
difficulty locating vans in good shape that cost less than $35,000 (i.e.
GoWesty.com - I'm SURE that those vans are the best out there, but I don't
have THAT kinda cash!).

Am I missing something?

Does anyone have a reputable website they can recommend to me, or know of
any places in and around Chicago that have decent vanagons at fair prices?

Basically, I've just got this Vanagon itch that needs to be scratched and it
seems that I can't reach it by myself and need some help from the list.
