I just had all the wheel bearings done on my new '82 Diesel L. My
front tires are in very poor condition - multiple bald spots, cracked
sidewalls etc., and the passenger one blew up yesterday. The rear
tires look alright. They're all "Cooper Discoverer Radial"
LT195/75R14.

I can't afford 4 new tires at the moment (baby on the way, yada yada),
and used vanagon tires are proving difficult to find. Can anyone
suggest a place around Vancouver that is likely to have a couple?
Does anyone nearby have any spares lying around?

Geordie.
