Do I really have to answer this again??? On occasion, gerry, the vanagon list server, takes a vacation. When this happens, you can send all the "Where'd the list go?" messages you want to gerry.vanagon.com and with luck, they'll get queued and be delivered WHEN THE SERVER COMES BACK UP. With a little less luck, the bits from the messages all fall out of the 'tubes' and end up on the floor at Tom C's house. Then Mrs C then has to sweep them up and toss them as it's quite difficult, if not impossible, to pour them from the dustpan back into the Internet. Knowing this, way back in 1996, when the list made its transition from lenti.med.umn.edu (good lord.... It's been ten years and I still remember that address....) we made alternative arrangements. Join the vanagon@yahoogroups.com list. When gerry steps out for a few days, the folks that are on that list KNOW what's going on. They also have access to 965 other gerry listmembers. The yahoogroups list sole reason for being is to disseminate vanagon type information when gerry.vanagon.com is unavailable. Using it also helps keep Tom's floor clean. I hope that this clears up any confusion. Jim
