Subject:Vanagon front heater blower motor ballast resistor replacement
From:Frank Condelli
Date:Fri, 13 Oct 2006 06:22:31 EDT

Folks, I have found an inexpensive ballast resistor to replace those burned
out ones for the Vanagon front heater blower motor. Takes a bit of rewiring
but well worth the effort for the savings. VW Canada wants $195 for ballast
resistor and related harness. This part is German and for the heater fan
motor of a VW Golf, Jetta, Cabrio - 1985 - 1992. From my _Vanagon Items
Forsale_ (http://members.aol.com/Fkc43/sales.htm) webpage > Ballast resistor for
front heater blower fan motor, 8103, 191 959 263C - $24.95
