Had similar damage when we bought our van... PO said it was from a
campground post in Austria (like that made it okay).  Lived with it for
years until a piece of metal on the road flipped up and added a hole to
the dent.  Was about $400 to fix all including paint forward to the
corner and across the front.  But that was 8 years ago so factor in
inflation as you will.
