Subject:Fwd: [WetWesties] waterproofing (was RE: RAISED ROOF hard tops

Ah, a presistent memory of my childhood spent on camping vacations in an old
canvas tent:

"Don't touch the tent!"

It always seemed to rain when we camped...one of the many reasons my mother
won't ever consider camping again.

My poptop canvas has never leaked on me (and I've camped in some fierce
rain and wind)... of course, I sleep downstairs, so the canvas doesn't get
touched while wet. Once you *touch* wet canvas, you'll get a drip that
won't stop until the canvas has completely dried out.

Now, the next time you are sleeping upstairs, and it's raining real hard
outside, and you think of this email... don't blame me if you just *have*
to reach out and see if I'm right. I distinctly told you not to touch it!!!

Happy Friday the 13th, and Dry Camping To All!

Tim
