Subject:I got: 025 906 021C, what did I get?

Here's one for you in the advanced class.

Half price at the Pick and Pull today in Sunland,CA (near LA). Only one
Vanagon passenger Van. I grabbed an ECU off the 84. The part number on it is
025-906-021C.

ETKA list the ECU for my 83.5 as 025-906-021.

IF I search the part number of the ECU I grabbed today (025-906-021C) ETKA
says "could use 025-906-021" I guess that means the one with "C" suffix isn't
available (?)

When ETKA says "could use" it makes me think of a camping trip where you
forget to pack a church key and you "could use" a car key. I mean the car key will
work, but not optimal.

Anyway what's the application for the 025-906-021C and is it interchangeable
with 025-906-021? What's with the suffixs in this particular case?

Thanks.

Best,
Jeff
