I just happened to have been looking at the underside of my tank yesterday.
I suspect these are mounting bushings that go between the two mounting
brackets and the underside of the tank.

Anyone know about 2 rubber bushings that go with gas tank? I have an 1989
Vanagon, which I put in the shop many weeks ago, They ordered a new tank for
it
. When I called about it 2 weeks ago they told me these bushings didn't come
with tank and they were on back order -coming from Germany. Any thoughts
about this?
