Hello there. I will annoy you fine folks this one last time-this week. I need to know about the weekender interior. My marketeer, Larry, say us that weekenders dont really exist. I have found one and am trying to convince him that they do.He is on vacation ,right now, and I may have sell it before he returns. His loss. Specifically, can this wall panel that holds the table be retrofitted into a 1987 syncro that did not origionally come with the special interior? The particular issue is the upper table mounting bolt fastner nuts that are welded into the vanagon at the factory and painted along with the exterior and interior steel. They are way up inside the window channel area, and would be very difficult to retrofit, themselves. The table mount bolts to these holes at the top, and I think the table mount is pop rivited to the bottom. Can a weekender set up be retrofitted without needing to add these imposiable to get at nuts? Are the nuts included with all vanagons regardless whether or not they have the weekender interior?
