My wife uses a -20F sleeping bag... that + footies & a sock hat seem to
help.

One problem with sleeping in the cold with the poptop down is that the
inside of the van may get very wet.  Not just the windows but that
flocking on the inside of the poptop will be soaked or worse,
ice-covered.  Don't others encounter this when it is really cold?

Joy's suggestion is the best one -- Arizona.
