I agree with Greg about the combo -

I have been looking at a Smart as covering 95% of my transport needs
6 days a week and a Syncro for the home depot run on Sunday / Snowday.

Too bad the Diesel Smart probably wont make it to the US. But Mitsubishi
IS currently testing all-electric versions of their Smart-based iCar
