So it sort of belatedly occurred to me that a bunch of folks might have missed the reference... I'd seen this picture before but it was out of context- I had no idea it was a true story. Great song tho. http://www.srvrocks.com/lyrics-willie_the_wimp.htm Cya, Robert ----- Original Message ----- From: "Anderson,Chuck" <CAnderson@UA.COLOSTATE.EDU> To: <vanagon@GERRY.VANAGON.COM> Sent: Thursday, October 26, 2006 2:03 PM Subject: Re: Smart Car Crash Wow, it will take a pretty big burial plot to accommodate a Cadillac. -----Original Message----- From: Vanagon Mailing List [mailto:vanagon@gerry.vanagon.com] On Behalf Of Robert Fisher Sent: Thursday, October 26, 2006 2:39 PM To: vanagon@GERRY.VANAGON.COM Subject: Re: Smart Car Crash S'ok, I've got a Cadillac for that... not original, I know but still a classic. If you got killed, you could just be buried in it and save your family the cost of a funeral. -----Original Message----- From: Vanagon Mailing List [mailto:vanagon@gerry.vanagon.com] On Behalf Of Robert Fisher Sent: Wednesday, October 25, 2006 11:48 PM To: vanagon@GERRY.VANAGON.COM Subject: Re: Smart Car Crash The problem with these crash tests is that they have little to do with the kinds of forces you get in real life accidents- how often does somebody just run right into a wall? I want to know what it looks like after tangling with a semi and the ensuing mult-car pinball game on an LA freeway. I'd like to feel like I had at least a little hope of being carried off on a stretcher instead of in a dust pan. I mean hell, I ride a motorcycle and I used to drive a Rabbit and I don't think I'd get in that thing, assuming I could fit in it.
