Ok the cheeeep skate in me is coming out.... (I might use these tire 2 mths each year tops so haing a hard time to justify $120-150us for snow tires) but I want to do a x-country ski tour in Jasper-Bank AB, .Ca area dec-jan so I want to get some dedicated boots I am not sure these Hankooks RA08 will be up to real ski country does any body know of any other D rated dedicated snow tires eccept the Nokia Hakkapeliitta C2 185R14 or Vredestein Comtrac Winter 185R14 Or can anyone convince me the hankooks can handle real snow country ?? (eg anyone with hands on in snow country with the ra08's ?)
