The engine in question was a  2.0  air  not the 1.9 or 2.1  and I do agree
with you with 1.9 & 2.1 =  no wear // The Subies  seem also to have very little
or no wear  / Over the years ( appox. 44  ) using  a inside micrometer on the
bug 1.6 /  bus 1.7, 1.8. 2.0  or Vanagon air 2.0 Always showed significant out
of round variances
