Tom, I'd wonder about adding a POLY underbody H2o tank then.. similiar to the fuel tank idea. http://www.dansperformanceparts.com/buggy/fuel/buggyfuel1.htm 8"x33" is 8gals. not bad for extra h20. if you just undercut the 1gal/day 8gal could add 3days capacity. so under the slider 1 Blue poly 8x33 H20 tank and 1 yellow poly 8x33 Diesel tank.. ideas ideas.. and winter projects. >>> Tom Forhan <fourwdvw@yahoo.com> 11/14/2006 12:52:59 PM >>> What is interesting to me about fuel tank discussions is that when I am using my Syncro Westie for its intended purpose - cruising around in the boondocks and camping- the limiting factor seems to be water, not fuel or propane. Two people and a dog - we must go through three gallons a day, minumum, which means we need more water every five days. Propane for cooking and the fridge lasts about three weeks, one week if we use the Propex. Gas - its usually pretty easy to find, and with an 18 gallon tank its never been an issue.
