Couple of issues with Jake: * too much of a chip on his shoulders * too expensive and too much of a waiting list * does NOT cater to Type 4 Vanagons Finally, the 2 liter Type 4 is not the best aircooled engine to use for a Westfalia. An aircooled 6 cylinder is (providing that it must remain aircooled). "Dr.Chris" <gronski@GMAIL.COM> wrote: When I had an air cooled van I lusted at the 911 conversion as well. But I "decided" (that is: never actually did it but thought I might go this route) on a Jake Raby Massive Type 4 engione instead: http://www.aircooledtechnology.com/ It may be worth looking into. Way more power than stock, way less money than a 911. Chris On 11/24/06, Mike Rouby wrote: > Will a Corvair 6 cyl engine fit a Vanagon?
