Hi Ryan,

That's a good link. Those guys are creative and very persistent. Fun
to read, too.

Occaisionally I will reply to a 419 scammer and ask a few questions
about how much $$ I can get and how soon they can turn it around. I
don't usually go past a couple emails before I lose interest. I see
this as a public service: While they're composing an email to me, it
takes time away from scamming some un-knowing victim. People should
try it, you might find it fun.

A few months ago they nailed a pair of Nigerians working out of a
bungalo only a few miles from me: They aren't all overseas. A lot of
them are phishing for personal details to enable identity theft these
days, rather than straight-up fraud.

You gotta watch what you're doing online these days, no question. But
there are plenty of genuinely nice people to be met on the internet
as well.

Happy Trails,

Greg Potts
