As long as AAA's politics (whatever they may be) are not detrimental to the towing or services of my Westy, I will continue with AAA. In the past 9 years I have called AAA for towing four times with no problems or exclusions to report (Once in Oregon, once in Kansas and twice in Southern California). Because mine is an automatic, I had no problem getting "flatbed" service either. Can't beat the free maps, camping guides, dmv services, etc. I just renewed and I am ultra-happy with them. My nickel's worth, YMMV -- Jim Thompson 84 Westfalia 2.1 "Ole Putt" 73 K Ghia Coupe "Denise" 72 411 Station Wagon "Pug" oldvolkshome@gmail.com http://www.oldvolkshome.com ********************************** On 12/4/06, jon <jon@kenneke.com> wrote: > > Some friends told me about Better World Club (More info: > http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Better_World_Club) as an alternative to AAA. > > We have been AAA plus members for years, and have been happy with the > service.
