Aren't you guys always asking if there are any Vanagon owners in this place
or that place? Well, here I am in Hong Kong. And yes I am a Vanagon owner. I
have not seen a singel Vanagon here but there's lots of interesting
cabover/forward control (like a Vanagon) vehicles. I did see one aircooled
Westy in very good shape but was owned by a VW nut in Manila Philippines.
Even has the rare Behr AC which works. They rarely go faster than 2MPH in
Manila traffic during most of the day and evenings. I am jst amaze at how
well the aircooled can survive that even with the AC running. Of course, he
probably drives the thing only to show off to "pohrehnehrs" like me.
