hey POR-15 man! .. the way i put that nut in there is use a deep socket..or i
have a piece of pipe i made into a tool for doing this..  you just have to
catch the thread right..the same time your pressing down.. and be careful, or
you'll crack the potmetal shaft...or mirror housing..   its easier to do with
the wires out of the way..
