Jeff Well, actually, a lot of us (too many, probably) have an "extreme" commute, that is 50 miles or more to work each day-I know I do, I do 55 miles each way. I mentioned the National Capitol VW Club earlier. A couple of years ago a guy tried to revive it. Even though a good number of folks that were interested lived in Virginia, he picked Bowie, Maryland as a meeting location. Why, I don't know, as HE didn't even live close to Bowie. Now I'd have done Tysons Corner, Annandale, etc. but I'll be damned if I'm gonna drive to Bowie Maryland for a club meeting! Apparently a lot of others felt the same, too, and hardly anyone showed and he dropped the idea. Jeff (Nothing against Bowie, just it's about 100 miles from where I live) Jeff Stewart fonman4277@earthlink.net EarthLink Revolves Around You.
