If there's free flow from the tank and no crud in the filter, then
I'm just going to replace the pump and check out the sock at a later
date. If the tank isn't feeding correctly or the filter is already
gunked, I'll pull the tank. If I can't get it clean, I'll order a new
one.

Pulling the tank is no big deal, right, just get under there, drop
the straps and deal with it?
