Check the brake fluid level. Low fluid will also turn on the light. Of
course, if it is low, look for the leak.

Hi  Van friends,

The emergency brake light stays on after I release the emergency
brake. However, when I am driving up a hill, it will flicker and
sometimes go out. But when I'm on the flats or going downhill, it
stays on. Any suggestions on how to fix it without going to a repair
shop ... or waiting for it to burn out!
