i dropped the transmission tonight and came upon a major tranny fluid
leak. the freezeplug had fallen out of the cv flange, and when i
removed the drivers-side cv-joint the freezeplug fell to the (not so
clean) ground amid a stream of tranny fluid.

is there anything i should do before tapping the plug back into place
other than change the fluid and thoroughly clean the plug?
