The tread does not look especially aggressive but the specs are impressive. Road noise is minimal. They do well in deep snow as well as slush. Right after I got these tires, the snow melted and weather has been mild. We have had some heavy rain though and they seem to stick to the road in these conditions too. I do have 150 lbs of bagged salt over the rear axle and that makes a difference. I'm waiting for some icy conditions before I write a recommendation for The Roadhaus Tire Guide, but so far I'm liking them.
