my 84 westy is called "helmut", after Helmut's Strudel Hut on Bearskin Neck in Rockport, MA---it was my favorite place to visit on cape ann, and my westy, minus the parts cost, is my favorite vehicle for visiting friends and nature

After putting $1000 into mine the first week I had it, I had a premonition
that this would continue and named it "Geldsauger", which is rough
dictionary German for "Money Sucker". In the 2 years since then, I've dumped
about $12,000 (all in parts, I do my own labor) into a van I paid $2250 for,
so the name proved entirely appropriate.
