Not so sure about this artsy business - although I do write for a
fly-fishing magazine, and I did make my living as a guitar player at one
time and if my Dad is an indication of things to come, fartsy happens with
age.

I like this van because I hate tents and sleeping on the ground.

I also think it's kind of a way of separating yourself from the herd which
appeals to me greatly.

I'm curious: how many artsy-fartsy folks on this list? Is there a
relationship between this unfortunate disorder and loving vanagons? There is
a stereotype of hippies/vw buses, but does that still echo on with the 80s
version of the bus?
