"I'm starting to look at CD decks that can control iPods. Has anybody gotten into these yet? Comments? It sounds like it could be the end of 6-disk changers." Don't know if this is relative Tom. My coworker's brother also got an iPod and he plugs it into the lighter socket and it "transmits" to his radio, which is a nice system, from what my coworker says. Satellite radio works in a similar manner, but get's its signal from another antenna. The only "connection" to my van is the plug into the lighter socket. The playing unit transmits to the radio FM band not being used by local stations, in my case 88.2, 88.5, 88.7. Bob Stevens '87 Westy Syncro "Passion Fruit" ..... sure would like to have your motor in my van ;>)
