Larry, did you route it along the PS hose that goes to > the PS fluid reservoir? > Hi, I brought it up between the body of the pump and the pulley, bent it toward the front of the van and strapped it firmly to the metal tube that comes out of the top of the pump with a couple of hefty cable ties. Then I routed it back around to the right near the air intake and eventually attached to the original point. The replacement hose is naturally considerably longer than the stock one. It seems to holding up to the antifreeze well so far, but maybe it won't go 15 years. The point will be moot if I get a subie in there in the next couple of months. The other plumbing heresy I committed recently was to replace that hard plastic tube across the top of the gas tank with a longer flexible one, so that it could be connected *before* raising the tank. I did have to position this hose carefully so that the parking brake cable didn't rub on it. Larry A.
