I'm willing to guess that many of the videos that we see from South Africa that are deep in water
are  Diesels - maybe Turbo-Diesels, but not TDI.  As TDIs and Gas engines will short out when wet,
where-as a Diesel can run (nearly) under water, as long as it gets no water in the air-intake.  Am
I wrong??  m
