As I said - don't give up a primary phone through a *LEC/cell carrier.
You kept cell service. Like I often tell people - phone calls are often
made to report a network outage, I've never heard of anyone sending an
email to report their phone service is down. The mere fact that such
backup routing is available is a clear indication that Vonage
recognizes the inherent problem.
