I've got a '93 Euro and underpowered it's not. Compared to the busses or Vanagons, the Euros have much more power The real advantage is the winter handling. We've plowed through impossible snow and ice that had all cars but ours sliding into the guardrails. Now the engine compartment is a different story. Just the fact that they made the radiator to pop out to change the plugs is a good indicator that they put 2.5 liters in a 1 liter bag. :>) Dave Creasy '78 Westy '85 Westy '93 EVMV 5 sp. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Loren Busch" <starwagen@GMAIL.COM> To: <vanagon@GERRY.VANAGON.COM> Sent: Tuesday, February 06, 2007 7:41 PM Subject: Re: New van Style > RE: '93 Eurovan > Early Eurovans w/the 5 cyl engine have a reputation for being underpowered > and a transmission with problems and very expensive to fix.
