Good Grief Charlie Brown!!

I have had a fender bender ---- first one in over forty years but I am
glad I was in the Vanagon. Tough as nails, built like a tank.

Right end of fiberglass front bumper crumpled -  bumper center cracked.
Eminently repairable all the way. Bumper was the only thing damaged. Not
so the other car - got the rear of driver front fender, lower door post,
front of driver door.

Vanagon vs Neon - not much of a battle. Good thing it was not a Volvo -
the ol' Vanagon would have eaten it's lunch.

Except for my stiff neck, no one was hurt, and both vehicles drove away
under their own steam.

Very fortuante.
