Hi, I've had a Swiss Army knife in my pocket for over 35 years (spoiled many a date when asked "Is that a swiss army knife in your pocket, or are you happy to see me?" ...so I would show her the swiss army knife..). My first knife was rather beat up (lost the side covers, broke the large blade, small blade had been melted by trying to cut thru a + 12 V wire and touching ground). So I tossed the knife in a desk drawer and forgot about it for 15 years. A couple of years ago, I was on the knife website and noticed that they would rebuild knifes...so I sent mine in. They rebuilt the whole thing...cost? $10!! The knife now resides in a leather sheath in the glove box of my Westy.
