I like the Pioneers for the Vanagon for four reasons:
1.  Smallest length - they fit!!!  In my '84, there isn't much space, so...
2.  Most receptive tuner (I live in a fringe area -- FM sensitivity of
8dbf).
3.  Newest ones (even cheapest) have front panel jack for MP3 player.
4.  Inexpensive for what you get.
