Subject:Re: 1.9L exhaust smoke after sitting for 30 days

Dennis,

Sorry to relate everything to airplanes, but that is where my mechanical
origins come from........... for an engine that sits at an odd angle for
a long period of time, would not a hydraulic lock be a likelyhood, in
which case if suspected it would be wise to pull the plugs and turn the
engine over by hand several times to be sure the internals are free,
re-install the plugs and only then fire it up? Might bend a rod or
damage the crank otherwise.

Regards,

John Rodgers
88 GAL Driver.
