Greetings: this is my first post to this list and I'm hoping for some help
locating both an upper and lower housing for the 1.9L coolant thermostat. VW
offers the lower alone for 80 clams -- heartburn city.

Any suggestions/does anyone have a set?

Steve, I have two that I have completely rebuilt. All corrosion removed,
all threads repaired with Helicoils where needed and all new SS bolts for the
cap. They are $100 CND each plus S&H to your address.

Cheers,
