I started on the rust today.  I pulled the rubber step guard off the
passenger side lower step and not only was it rusty down there it was still
soaking wet. All the rust repair in the world won't stop that from rusting
again. Where is the source of that water? The van has been in the garage for
3 days after it rained. Also, when you open the driver side door and peer
into that air vent there is water puddle in there (in addition to the
acorns, don't even get me started about the squirrels around here) and the
drivers floor is wet. Where is this water coming from?
