Already  been done !  See the 1992 Vanagons sold in Europe.  Look in your
ETKA  7 or ETKA 5 Euro version.  I had one here that a guy from Ottawa imported
from Switzerland.  The entire brake system is different.  ABS module  is under
the drivers seat so no aux battery compartment to worry about what size
battery to put in there !
