Neither do surfers, apparently. I overheard two male surfers in their
late 30's discussing girlfriends. They both agreed that having one was
more trouble than it was worth. As one put it, "Chicks want you to have
jobs so you can them out to dinner and buy them stuff. You have no time
for surfing."
