Hey folks,

Sorry to post a NVC message today.  We have a Vanagon, but we also have a 2002 Subaru Outback wagon.  A week ago it started making a whining noise when it is put in reverse.  The noise only happens when the car moves; no noise if its in reverse and not moving.

Does anyone know of a Subaru site or mailing list that is equivalent to the Vanagon site and list?  Would like to fix this without involving the dealer if possible.
