I just purchased Hankook Ra08 tires for my 89 Westy. Discount Tire said that 35 psi was correct and I disagreed with them. I then checked with my mechanic, and he said check the side walls see what the max is (65) and deduct 5 pounds making all four 60 psi. I thought well.. lets check inside the drivers door and see what vw sezs.. 185 - front 43 back 53 205 30 in front and 40 in back. no mention of 195's. I seem to remember psi's talked about recently but I couldn't find the references. What is the general consensus of the correct psi for interstate and secondary paved roads here in the South?
